Messaging will be suspended for those who reject WhatsApp's new terms

Messaging will be suspended for those who reject WhatsApp's new terms

WhatsApp users who do not accept the new rules and regulations by the May 15 deadline will have their messaging facility suspended.
After accepting these terms, they will be able to use the messaging facility again.
Their account will go to the list of 'Inactive' or 'Inactive' accounts and inactive accounts can be deleted after 120 days.
According to TechCrunch, calls and notifications will still work for a while, but will probably only last for a few weeks
WhatsApp announced the update in January.

Many users reacted negatively. He thought that this meant that WhatsApp was planning to change the amount of data shared with its owner, Facebook.
WhatsApp later clarified that this was not the case and said that the purpose of the update was to enable payments to businesses.
Informing users
WhatsApp already shares some information with Facebook, such as the device's IP address and buying and selling through the platform.
But that doesn't happen in Europe or the UK because privacy laws are different.
Following the initial announcement of WhatsApp, demand for platforms such as Telegram and Signal saw a huge increase as WhatsApp users began looking for alternative 'encrypted messaging services'.

WhatsApp has since delayed the initial rollout and has changed the way users are notified of changes.
