Story Relationship control through coercion: 'I was 16 and I thought it was normal

Story Relationship control through coercion: 'I was 16 and I thought it was normal

The details in this article can be painful.

The difference between a healthy and exploitative relationship is not always clear, especially when its long-term effects are not visible in the form of a wound but can be just as harmful.

When Sarah was about 16 years old, she began to get close to Zack, the boy in her school year.

After talking for a few weeks, he asked them to go out with him. At first, she was nervous because she was not used to going out alone, so she asked if she could bring her friends with her.

He remembers saying: 'I just want to be alone. This is a chance to be with us now or never. "

Sarah really liked Zack at the time, and when he invited her to do different things, including just the two of them, she knew Zack felt the same way. That's why when she was afraid to go out alone at night, she would go to spend time with Zack.

A few months later, the two became a regular couple.

They were going to a house party and Sarah was trying on some clothes. Zack said, "Doesn't it show a little too much body?" Relying on Zack's opinion, Sarah chose the other pair.

As Sarah talked to the other boys, Zack began to say that she was trying to burn them. "Otherwise, what's the point of you talking to him?"

He was convinced that this was an innocent general conversation, but he thought that if he felt that way, he would be fine.

"Stop controlling so much!"

Zack then began experimenting with drugs and began using regular Class A drugs (heroin, cocaine, LSD or ecstasy, etc.). So Sarah told him that she was worried about him.

Zack said: "Stop controlling so much!"

Whenever they talked about it, Zack would accuse them of controlling it. One night he googled 'Am I the controlling person?'

The more time she spent with Sarah Zack, the farther she became from her other friends. "It's normal at the beginning of a new relationship," Zack said.

Zack always told her, "I didn't like your friends anyway."

Soon the results of A levels were released in which Zack got two A grades and one B grade, while Sara got one A and two B grades.

"You know it was expected," he said.

Sarah was admitted to her favorite university while Zack decided to retake the exam. He asked: "Don't go, why do you want to leave me here?" When he got very upset about Sara going to university, he said, "What is the purpose of Sara going to university?"

"It's a waste of money," Zack said. I will earn, I cannot be alone. '

Sarah, now 23, says the early years of their relationship were not bad. I mean, it wasn't as bad as it used to be. "

What is control through oppression?

Control through coercive control or coercion cannot be limited to a single incident in a relationship but is a set of words, attitudes and threats that disrespect, isolate and control an affected person, causing him or her to Freedom and its 'caste' is lost.

Affected people report that you feel emotionally exploited because you feel that your self-confidence and autonomy are being eroded and even the only normal thing you know is that you are being exploited.

The nature of coercive control is such that it becomes very difficult for you and in some cases impossible for you to recognize the exploitation that is happening to you.

So how do you know when the feeling of closeness and jealousy is changing into control and oppression? This is one of the questions that has been sought in the BBC TV documentary Is This Cursive Control.

In the new documentary, a group of young people discuss whether a fictional story (unrelated to the case of Sarah and Zack) is coercive. Throughout the show, general assumptions about emotional exploitation and fear of stigma have been dispelled.

Will you be able to control the force before it's too late?

"He said he could break my neck if he wanted to."

In order to be aware of all kinds of abuses, the British government has made 'relationship education' compulsory in schools, which came into effect in September 2020. The curriculum teaches students to identify financial, emotional and physical abuse during adolescence and adulthood.

Sarah says she wishes she had access to it before her relationship with Zack. For them, 'you are beautiful' soon turned into 'you are lucky to be with me because no one else likes you'.

Detailed approval was required for the selection of Zack's attire for getting out of bed and dressing.

"He really convinced me that if I didn't show him what I was wearing, he would be wrong."

And as soon as they saw it, their friends turned away from them. Because her boyfriend secretly sent her a message saying, "Sarah hates you and does evil behind your back."

Zack often said that he did not have money to eat and live, and according to Sarah he often sent her money. But then Sarah would be punished.

"You're only doing this because I feel bad about myself," he said.

At university, if Sarah wanted to go out for a night out with friends, Zack would tell her she could not go and would tell her over and over again that if she did, she would be raped and a stranger would drug her. It will give Zack a lot of trouble and he will spend the night awake.

"I started to feel like I was really restricted."

If she ever went out, which is very rare, she would receive messages and calls asking where she was and what she was doing.

"I started to feel like my life at university was really limited," says Sarah.

"I felt like I couldn't get involved or make friends. I'm sure my roommates would think (our relationship) was weird, because I always asked her permission, and thought it might be normal. He convinced me that this was normal. "

Before Sarah could realize it, she was terrified of all these negative attitudes.

The time she misses the most was Zack's visit to the university. Sarah paid Zack to come here so they could spend a day together. She was lying on the bed with Zack close to her chest when he told her, "I can break your neck right now if I want to."

Sarah says the pressure to do as she was told was rife in their close friendship.

"He used to talk a lot about how he looks so obscene and obscene porn," she says, because he says, "You don't do all this in the bedroom, so I have to get it from somewhere else." Is.'

Sarah feared for her life on more than one occasion.

"I was scared of it."

Zack gets angry and throws chairs, breaks things and threatens Sarah as if it's just a kiss.

"If I went to him, touched him and tried to calm him down, he would push me away," says Sarah. I didn't want to go and see him. I was scared of it. "

This is the third year of Sarah's university. When she felt her "freedom" moments were coming to an end, Sarah thought that there was still an option to leave Zack.

Sarah's housemate sat down and talked to her. She was really worried that her 'forced relationship' was ruining her life.

"I was really unhappy and I didn't realize it. There should be no relationship that makes you doubt yourself every day. I really wondered if I wanted to live like that for a lifetime. '

She says that unfortunately, like many other bad relationships, the relationship ended but not abused.

Domestic violence

Domestic violence can result in the death of people, usually women. Criminologist Dr. Jane Mancton Smith says that sometimes these cases are related to forced control. Forced control can affect any gender or sexuality.

Barrister Claire Sebourowska, who appeared in the documentary, told BBC Three that she was seeing more and more cases of forced control among young people aged 16 and over.

"When you're young, no one expects you to go into a relationship that hurts, but it can happen to anyone. Sometimes these small, sudden symptoms start to appear and can last for a long time.

"Until then, you have put everything into this relationship, which is bad. So it is important that young people know what coercion is, that they can quickly recognize the symptoms and be able to talk about them. "

According to Claire, in some cases, the perpetrator avoids physical violence because it leaves clear marks.

"They (the offenders) are fast enough and make sure they don't commit any physical crime, because if it's just forced control, it's very difficult to detect, even though it's very bad for the victim." There are psychological effects.

When Sarah went to break up with Zack, she was terrified, "I felt responsible for her life."

"He threatened to kill himself."

Sarah had no idea how Zack would react to the news of the breakup, so Sarah knew better than to tell him the news on the street because she wanted to do it in public with other people, so Zack Couldn't hurt them.

For months after the breakup, Zack continued to harass them.

"If I didn't answer him, he would have threatened to kill himself," she said.

When Sarah blocked his number, Zack rushed to the door. And once again at his mother's house.

"I felt that unless I moved somewhere and he knew my address, I would not be able to escape completely."

More than a year after their first relationship ended, Sarah is now reunited with people. She is in a happy relationship and says she is starting to feel good again.

Saudi Arabia denies US accusation of killing Prince Muhammad bin Salman

Saudi Arabia denies US accusation of killing Prince Muhammad bin Salman

An intelligence report released by the newly elected US President Joe Biden's government says Prince Mohammed bin Salman has approved a plan to capture Saudi-born American journalist Jamal Khashoggi, dead or alive.

This is the first time that the United States has publicly named a Saudi prince in the case, while Muhammad bin Salman has denied allegations that he ordered the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry, however, categorically rejected the US intelligence report, calling it "offensive and inaccurate" against the Saudi leadership and saying it did not accept the report.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in an official statement published by the state-run Saudi Al-Inaiya Agency (SPA) that the report contained a collection of misinformation and false results. Rejects any issue that leads to prejudice against the country's leadership, sovereignty and independence of its judiciary.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry in a statement regretted the release of such a report and the erroneous and unjustified findings in it, saying that the report was issued at a time when the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemned this heinous crime. And its leadership took the necessary steps to ensure that such an unfortunate incident could not be repeated in the future.

Jamal Khashoggi was a Saudi journalist who went into self-imposed exile in the United States and criticized the Saudi government.

It may be recalled that President Biden had contacted King Salman of Saudi Arabia by phone on Thursday. He made the call after reading the report, but there were no reports of any contact with the report.

President Biden intends to "restructure" US relations with Saudi Arabia.

Jamal Khashoggi, an American journalist, and correspondent for the Washington Post, was brutally murdered in 2018 at the Saudi embassy in Istanbul. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has denied any involvement in the killings, which took place inside the Saudi embassy building.

"We have determined that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia authorized the capture or assassination of Saudi journalist Khashoggi in Istanbul, Turkey," the US National Intelligence Agency said in a statement.

The report cites three reasons why the Crown Prince approved the operation:
Control of decision making in the state since 2017
The direct involvement of a security adviser in the operation
Crown Prince 'supports violent measures to silence dissenting voices abroad'
Earlier, Saudi officials said a team of Saudi agents had been sent to bring Jamal Khashoggi to Saudi Arabia, where he died as the situation worsened.

A Saudi court has sentenced five men to death for the murder but commuted their sentences to 20 years in prison in September last year.

The report names those who have been accused or held responsible for Khashoggi's murder. But the report said: "We do not know to what extent the people involved in the plot to harm them go ahead."

In 2019, US Special Envoy Agnes Klamard accused Saudi Arabia of deliberately allowing Khashkji to be killed and rejected the Saudi court's decision as unjust.

What does this mean for Saudi-US relations?

The CIA reported in 2108 that the agency believed that Shahrada Muhammad bin Salman had ordered the assassination, but that the allegations had never been made public by US officials. Was

US President Joe Biden is expected to be tougher on human rights issues in Saudi Arabia than his predecessor, Donald Trump.

The United States is a key ally of Saudi Arabia in the Middle East.

According to the White House, President Joe Biden confirmed the rule of law and the importance of global human rights in the United States by telephone from the Saudi king on Thursday.

Reuters quoted a source as saying that the Biden administration was considering scrapping an arms deal with Saudi Arabia that raised human rights concerns, as well as "defending" future military defenses. Weapons also need to be limited

Prosecutors in Saudi Arabia say Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had no knowledge of the killings. But in 2019, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said in a statement that because the killings were caused by negligence on the part of Saudi officials, he, as one of the most important members of the Saudi government, would accept responsibility for the killings. The Washington Post, for which Jamal Khashoggi worked, said the CIA's investigation was based on phone calls made by Khalid bin Salman, the brother of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi ambassador to the United States. ۔

Why Muhammad bin Salman is once again active against important princes

Prince Khalid, who is also the country's deputy defense minister, allegedly telephoned Jamal Khashoggi on the instructions of his brother Muhammad bin Salman and assured him that he would go to the Saudi embassy in Istanbul and would not be told anything. ۔ Prince Khalid refused to talk to Jamal Khashoggi.

In 2019, UN special envoy Agnes Kalamard accused the Saudi state of "deliberately" assassinating Jamal Khashoggi, calling the killing a "fair joke".

Why is this issue being raised now?

The publication of the investigation report into the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi is part of US President Joe Biden's policy of restructuring US relations with Saudi Arabia and he is tougher on Saudi Arabia than former President Donald Trump Have an attitude

The Trump administration rejected legal requirements to release the murder investigation report on the grounds that it had better relations with Saudi Arabia.

White House spokesman John Paskey said Wednesday that President Biden would speak directly to Saudi King Salman and not to his son, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who is, in fact, the current ruler of Saudi Arabia. Are

A White House spokesman said the talks would be the first since Saudi Arabia's 85-year-old King Salman took office.

"We made it clear immediately after coming to power that we would reconsider our relationship with Saudi Arabia," he told reporters.

The new US administration has already made a number of important policy changes. President Biden has ended support for a Saudi-led war against Yemen and cut off arms sales to Saudi Arabia.

Jamal Khashoggi was assassinated at the Saudi embassy in Istanbul

How was Jamal Khashoggi killed?

Jamal Khashoggi, a 59-year-old journalist, was last seen visiting the Saudi embassy in Istanbul, Turkey, on October 2, 2018.

According to Saudi officials, Jamal Khashoggi was given an injection to control him and during a physical struggle, he received an overdose of the injection, which resulted in his death. After which his body was dismembered and handed over to some local helpers. No trace of his body has been found since then.

Information released by Turkish intelligence agencies, including some audio material, reveals shocking details.

Khashoggi had previously served as an adviser to the Saudi government, but later fell out of favor with the Saudi ruling family and left the country for the United States in 2017. In the United States, he began writing critical columns for the Washington Post on Muhammad bin Salman's policy.

In his first column, he wrote that he was afraid of being arrested in Saudi Arabia because Muhammad bin Salman was trying to silence all his opponents. In his last column, he sharply criticized Saudi Arabia's attack on Yemen.

Snowfall in the Middle East: Snowfall in most Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia

Snowfall in the Middle East: Snowfall in most Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia

"Everywhere you look today, the tide of protectionist sentiment is flowing.

This is the poem of Masood Hasas that comes to mind after looking at the pictures and videos posted on social media from the Middle East over the past few days.

A region known for its extreme heat and dry weather in ordinary days is now covered with a white sheet of snow. Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Israel, Turkey, Iraq and Saudi Arabia have also seen spectacular snowfall.
Spain's 'worst blizzard' in five decades

Syrian refugee camps turn into lakes after rain and snow

Record snowfall in 30 years in Indian-administered Kashmir

Go see the snow, but be prepared

Most people looking at these pictures may feel that this is a strange thing, although it usually snows in most parts of the Middle East.

However, many have linked the snowfall to climate change, saying "where are those who speak out against climate change today?"

Snow has also fallen in Palestine and Israel, and the weather is expected to intensify in the coming days.

The snowfall has caused traffic problems in several parts of the Middle East, and in some places, the vaccination of Code 19 has been halted. Similarly, educational institutions remained closed in some countries.

The Syrian capital, Damascus, was also covered in snow, with more than 15cm of snow recorded in some parts, according to the country's state news agency SANA.

Where they used to make mirages on the roads due to extreme heat, now bulldozers are seen removing snow from the roads.

Lebanon also received snowfall, but at the same time strong winds have been blowing here and according to the country's Meteorological Department, this blizzard may intensify on Thursday.

In most countries, traffic problems continue to occur, but of course, the fun of riding a bike in the snow is different.

Meanwhile, there was snowfall in Israel and Palestine and according to the Israeli Meteorological Department, the weather will be cold all over the country in the coming days and there is a possibility of torrential rain.

A user posted a video on social media showing scenes of a snow-covered road from Damascus to Beirut.

In the mountainous areas of Saudi Arabia, after the snowfall, most people are sharing videos of camels during the snowfall in the city of Tabuk on social media. One user commented on the video, saying that these camels are also confused by the weather.

Keep in mind that the snowfall in the Saudi city of Tabuk is not surprising. The city is located on the border between Saudi Arabia and Jordan and snowed here last month.

Most people on social media also seem to pay attention to the fact that at this time we should not forget the war-torn areas in the Middle East where people may be affected by snowfall.

Ali Sadpara's death was confirmed

                          Ali Sadpara's death was confirmed

Sajid Ali Sadpara, son of Pakistani mountaineer Muhammad Ali Sadpara, while confirming his father's death, said that may Allah bless his father with paradise.

Sajid Sadpara, son of Ali Sadpara, along with provincial tourism minister Raja Nasir Ali Khan, told a press conference in Skardu on Thursday, February 18 that K2 had embraced Ali Sadpara. Sajid Sadpara also said that may Allah help my family to bear this trauma.

He said that keeping in view the weather conditions on K2, the government, Pakistan Army, and their families have come to the conclusion that the missing climber is no more in this world.

The provincial minister said that Mohammad Ali Sadpara and Sajid Sadpara would be awarded civil honors. A proposal has also been made to the federal government to attribute Skardu Airport to Muhammad Ali Sadpara, while a mountaineering school will be set up under the name of Ali Sadpara.

He said that the government pays homage to the services of national hero Muhammad Ali Sadpara and Ali Sadpara's family will be financially supported.

The provincial minister further said that educational scholarships would be given to the children of national heroes. Regular legislation will be enacted to provide for the families of accident victims.

It should be noted that Ali Sadpara, John Asnori from Iceland, and Yuan Pablo from Chile lost contact with their team on Friday, February 5, during the winter K2 head adventure. After waiting for 2 days, a rescue operation was launched.

The chances of his father surviving are slim, says Sajid Sadpara

The search operation of the Pakistan Army for the climbers also continued. Ali Sadpara's name remained among the top trends on Twitter and users from all walks of life, including celebrities and politicians, prayed for his safe return.

The last images taken before the departure of Ali Sadpara, a well-known mountaineer who went missing during the KT summit, were also taken by Canadian filmmaker and photographer Elijah Steckley.

The Canadian photographer quoted Ali Sadpara's son as saying, "His son Sajid says that my father is a snow leopard who climbs mountains with incredible speed."

A team of seven climbers set out on a rescue operation in search of Ali Sadpara, John Asnori, and JP Mohar, and on February 12, the largest rescue operation in the country's history began.

Earlier, a statement issued by K2 Virtual and Physical Base Camp said that an extraordinary search operation in the history of mountaineering was underway to find Ali Sadpara, John Asnori, and JP Mohar. We truly thank the Pakistani administration, pilots, Imtiaz, and Akbar.

According to the press release, possible locations were identified through satellite images. Information was also obtained through Synthetic Aperture Radar Technology (SAR). Thousands of images were taken with the help of radar. With the help of which the departure times, plans, and fixed points of the climbers were checked, while they were seen again.

Assistants at the A2 Virtual and Physical Base Camp said that F-16s were used by the Pakistan Army in the search and rescue operation when the operation for helicopters became difficult due to bad weather.

The F-16s were equipped with state-of-the-art sensors and powerful cameras, and the area was surveyed. "Unfortunately, the pictures we found were of sleeping bags, sleeping pads, and torn tents," he lamented. None of the objects in the photos were JP Mohar, John Asnoori, and Ali Sadpara.

This technology is used to identify sleeping bags and tents. We are also grateful to the government of Gilgit-Baltistan, when Imtiaz, a relative of Ali Sadpara, and Akbar are deeply grateful.

Muhammad Ali Sadpara: 'Son of the Mountains' was a mountaineer who was immersed in blood

Muhammad Ali Sadpara: 'Son of the Mountains' was a mountaineer who was immersed in blood

My father (Muhammad Ali Sadpara) was a mountain of courage. Before going on any mountaineering expedition, my mother and I would smile and reassure ourselves that everything would be alright. He used to say that you people should not be upset but should face every situation. That's what he told us before he went on the K2 campaign. "

Ali Sadpara's son Mazahir Hussain started his speech by sharing his father's memories with the BBC.

Sadpara went on a winter expedition to climb the world's second-highest peak, K2, along with Icelandic mountaineer John Sunori as a porter. He is accompanied by young Pablo Moher from Chile.

The last contact with the three climbers was about two weeks ago, on February 5. The rescue operation to find them has been suspended from February 15 due to inclement weather and other reasons. No trace of the three climbers has been found in rescue missions so far.

Mazahir Hussain said, "We always saw our father laughing and smiling. He was in love with the mountains and mountaineering was his obsession. He always told me that fun is when you get an education and do something.

Ali Sadpara, 45, has the honor of climbing the world's highest peak, Nanga Parbat, in winter. Due to his expertise in mountaineering, he gained national and international fame.

According to Mazahir, his father would often tell his children, "Look how many of my friends and colleagues have fallen victim to this dangerous sport (mountaineering)." In fact, they wanted us to get a good education first, then to pursue a passion for mountaineering. My father believed that if we get a good education, it will help us to perform better in mountaineering.

But Mazahir Hussain says "maybe mountaineering is in our blood."

According to Mazahir, he agreed to his father's education and focused on his studies. "But my elder brother Sajid Sadpara is just like Abu. He continued to climb, which resulted in Abu taking him on every expedition.

Father-son 'last meeting' at 8,000 meters

Mazahir Hussain says that his uncles have spoken to Sajid Sadpara. Sajid Sadpara said that "Sajid Sadpara felt the need for oxygen at the bottleneck just above the height of 8,000 meters but the regulator of his oxygen cylinder had broken down."

On this occasion, Muhammad Ali Sadpara directed Sajid Sadpara to return. Abu told Sajid that he could not go further without the regulator. Sajid did not discuss this at this critical juncture because at that time he thought there was only a short distance left to achieve historic success.

"Sajid told my uncles that when he was coming down, Abu hugged him very emotionally," says Mazahir. Then instructed to go carefully. Take care, we'll be back soon. "

"When Sajid was coming down, Abu had been watching him coming down for a long time."

"Perhaps Abu's sixth sense preceded him by a sudden calamity," he said. He sent Sajid back against his will.

A few days ago, while talking to the media in Skardu, Sajid Sadpara had said that when he came back to Camp III, he had kept the lights on all night and when the team returned, he would make them tea. They didn't have to come, they didn't come.

Sajid Sadpara has already said that the search for his father should now continue as a search for his body.

'Three dollars for lifting 25 kg'

Ali Mohammad is a close friend and colleague of Mohammad Ali Sadpara. The two started mountaineering together, but now Ali Mohammad has said goodbye to the world of mountaineering and runs his own tour operating agency.

He said that the economic situation of Muhammad Ali Sadpara was not so good in the beginning. He worked tirelessly and struggled to reach this place.

He started his career as a high-altitude porter. They became porters who would go up with the climbers and help them climb the mountain and carry their luggage.

He recalls that "Porter Sadpara used to work very hard and honestly and as a porter, he started learning mountaineering."

"After mastering mountaineering for a short period of time, he not only started mountaineering privately but also worked as a fixer for climbers."

According to Ali Muhammad, Ali Sadpara was instrumental in the historic and successful expeditions of many of the world's greatest mountaineers. Ali Sadpara used to tie ropes on the difficult mountain paths for the climbers with the help of which the climbers would be able to reach the peaks.

"Ali created his own world," says Rafiq Aziz Sadpara, a friend of Ali Sadpara in Rawalpindi.

"As a child, he farmed and tended cattle," he says. When he started working as a porter after marriage, he used to earn three dollars a day for carrying 25 kg of foreign mountaineering equipment.

"Working with climbers is also an art," he says. This art is almost like mountaineering. Muhammad Ali Sadpara had learned this job very soon.

The first major change in Muhammad Ali Sadpara's life was to serve as a porter for the Pakistan Army to deliver equipment to Siachen.

His son Mazahir Hussain said, "Abu always used to tell us to do whatever we do with hard work, enthusiasm, and passion, then it is not possible to fail."

"He used to tell us that he had worked as a porter for many years due to lack of mountaineering resources."

Ali Mohammad said that Mohammad Ali Sadpara was the 'son of the mountains'. "Mountains and mountaineering were in his blood. So even though they didn't get much help, they were quick to succeed.

"I think Ali was the best climber of the last century. Maybe no one else will be born in Pakistan again. If Muhammad Ali Sadpara had the resources, the number of his deeds and records would be many times more than it is now.

He asserted that his confession had been obtained through torture and that his confession had been obtained through torture.

He has been a fixer for many climbers on many of the world's most dangerous peaks. If they had the resources, they would have climbed these peaks on their own. There are probably so many victories on his record that no one could get close to him.

Ali Muhammad claims that Muhammad Ali Sadpara was perhaps the only climber in history to lead every expedition without oxygen. "It simply came to our notice then. Only Ali could do that. "

"I think in the future, people will do research on Muhammad Ali Sadpara."

'Helping others in the face of death'

Mountaineer
Ali Mohammad, a friend of Sadpara, said that Ali Sadpara had a simple temperament and a sincere personality.

There was humility in them. During many campaigns, we saw them sacrificing for their comrades. Everyone has to do their own thing during the campaigns. But most of the time Muhammad Ali Sadpara did his job and also helped others.

There will be many climbers around the world, including me, who will never forget the taste and flavor of Muhammad Ali Sadpara's hand-made tea and coffee. He used to help others even in the face of death.

"In many campaigns, we have seen that even if Ali was not the leader of the team, his role would have been the same as that of a leader. His role has always been central. They would pave the way for others, tie ropes and help in other ways.

Ali Sadpara used to help in removing dangerous obstacles. There are many climbers who have survived a dangerous accident. But when they had a hard time, no one could help them.

Aziz says that as a porter, Ali Sadpara's first teacher was his uncle Hassan Sadpara. Once he was helping climbers with him when his special spring fell. Muhammad Ali Sadpara was young. He did not know but his uncle had put the glass in his pocket.

"It simply came to our notice then. When the sun and the glare of the glacier blurred his eyes, Hassan Sadpara handed the spring to his young nephew and said that even a small mistake in the mountains becomes a big mistake. So be careful. "

Ali said that Sadpara was a brave but very careful climber.

He was disappointed in 2015 when he failed to climb the Nanga Parbat with his foreign climbers in the most unfavorable conditions during a winter expedition. But he was determined to do it again and sooner. According to the Alpine Club of Pakistan, work is underway to improve mountaineering laws and regulations in the country. According to Gilgit-Baltistan government spokesman Imtiaz Ali Taj, the government of Gilgit-Baltistan is striving for the development of all types of tourism in the region and in this regard should contact the people associated with the industry and legislate within its legal limits. Will

He said that an institute for international level mountaineering training would be set up in Gilgit-Baltistan soon. In which the welfare and training of mountaineering people became the first priority. For which preparations have been started.

He said that besides this, efforts were being made to develop a mechanism as a result of which direct campaigns could be launched in Pakistan and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Referring to several misleading and trivial news on social media about the missing climbers, Gilgit-Baltistan government spokesman Imtiaz Ali Taj said, “So far no concrete evidence has been found regarding Muhammad Ali Sadpara and his associates. The data collected from the search operation so far is being reviewed. There is a lot of misleading news being spread on social media right now which is causing heartache and problems to the families of the missing climbers.

He further said that if there is any information regarding the missing climbers, the families of the missing climbers besides Gilgit-Baltistan and the federal government will provide the information themselves. People should not believe in false and misleading news and those who spread such news should be discouraged.

China, the European Union's largest trading partner, is lagging behind the United States

China, the European Union's largest trading partner, is lagging behind the United States

China has overtaken the United States in 2020 to become the EU's largest trading partner.

The Corona epidemic has reduced trade between Europe's key partners, but China has managed to avoid these negative effects.

The secret to India's "historic decline" in GDP and the rise in Chinese trade

Last year, trade between China and the European Union was 709 billion, while in 2020, US trade was 1 671 billion.

Although China's economy deteriorated in the first quarter due to the Corona epidemic, demand for goods from the European Union increased at the end of the year after the economic situation improved.

In 2020, China was the only country in the major global economies to see economic growth. As a result, demand for European cars and luxury goods increased.

Meanwhile, strong exports of medical and electronic devices also benefited China's exports to Europe.

According to Eurostat, the European Union's statistics office, China was a key EU partner in 2020. This was the result of an additional 5.6 percent increase in imports and a further 2.2 percent increase in exports.

The EU figures are similar to the official figures released by China in January. According to China, trade with the European Union increased by 5.3% in 2020 to 69 696 billion.

The European Union's trade deficit with China has also risen from 199 199 billion to 219 billion, according to Eurostat data released on Monday.

There are tensions in the trade sector between China and the United States

Although the United States and the United Kingdom are still the EU's largest export markets, statistics show that there has been a sharp decline in trade between the two countries.

Eurostat says trade with the United States has fallen sharply, to 13.2% in both imports and 8.2% in exports.

Trade between the two countries has been hampered by a series of disputes between the two countries, which have led to the imposition of duties or taxes on American Harley-Davidson motorcycles in addition to steel and French Cognac.

In 2020, US trade with the European Union was 67 671 billion, up from 6 746 billion a year ago.

It is unclear whether the new US president, Joe Biden, will reconsider his country's stance on trade with Europe.

But in the meantime, the EU and China are trying to strengthen their economic ties. To that end, the two sides are trying to reach an investment agreement that will make it easier for European companies to access the Chinese market.

Experts believe that after the poor performance of 2020, the situation of international trade will improve this year.

Research firm IHS Markets estimates that international trade could grow by 7.6% this year. Last year, world trade fell 13.5 percent.

Increase in freight trains in China and Europe

China's state-run railway says 12,400 trains will run between China and Europe in 2020, up 50 percent from the previous year.

China's state-run railway says this is the first year that freight traffic between China and Europe has increased by 10,000 a year.

Freight vehicles exchanged 1.14 million 20-foot containers, up 56 percent from a year earlier.

The increase in the movement of commercial goods through freight vehicles is a tangible development in bilateral trade and has set a new direction for trade..

FTC charges that Facebook holds monopolistic force in the US person to person communication market and looks to compel the organization to strip from Instagram and WhatsApp to separate the conglomerate.[48] William Kovacic, a previous administrator of the Federal Trade Commission, contended the case will be hard to win as it would require the public authority to make a counterfactual contention of a web where the Facebook-WhatsApp-Instagram substance didn't exist, and demonstrate that hurt rivalry or customers.

Science And Society

           Science And Society

 Progress of Science

The following three features are responsible for the astonishing progress of science.

1. Scientific Ttitude of mind

2.Development of scientific instruments

3.Increasingly effective of mathematics

contribution of science

The writer points out that science has made a great contribution to the welfare of society such as the comforts of modern living, eliminating social evils such as poverty, diseases, etc

Objective Thinking

However, science has its limitations. science can do more for society if scientists have an objective based on facts instead of prejudiced thinking.

 Three Elements of Education

To make science more beneficial the writer concludes that education must contain three elements Science, religion, and humanities. We can then have a harmonious society where people might be living peacefully and happily without any controversy in the society

Q: Explain what is meant by the universality of science and mathematics?

Universality means existing or operating everywhere, under all conditions. given adequate professional training in the same field, Two scientists observing the same physical phenomena are likely to reach the same conclusion about them, no matter what their race, religious or political creed . their Instruments will give them the same readings. the laws of mathematics will bind the calculation of them both. The universality of science and maths is the cause of the tremendous progress of science today.

Q: In what period does the writer appear to place the beginning of modern science?

The writer appears to place the beginning of modern science since Newton's period (1642-1727) or the 17th century SIR Isaac Newton was an English mathematician and physicist. in the time, the three elements of modern science: a scientific attitude of mind, development of scientific apparatus, and effective use of mathematics had become common. Thus modern science started from Newton's time.

Abou Ben Adhem Poem

                  Abou Ben Adhem

In this poem, the poet tells us a story of a pious man named Abou ben Adhem and an angle. One night Abou Ben Adhem was sleeping soundly in his room. Suddenly he awoke to form his sleep and was greatly amazed to see an angel in his room, who was busy writing something in his golden book. Abou took the courage and asked the angle what he was writing in his golden book.

The angel looked towards Abou Ben Adhem happily and replied that he was writing the names of those people, who loved their creator, Almighty God. AbouBen Adhem asked the angle whether he was also written in this list or not. the angle replied in negative. Then Abou Ben Adhem requested the angel to write his name as one who loved his fellowmen. The angle accepted his request and disappeared.

THE next night the same angel came into the room of Abou Ben Adhem Again with even brighter light the showed him the names of those people who had been blessed with the love of Almighty God and the name of Abou Ben Adhem was at the top of the list.

Thus, through this poem, the poet wants to teach us the moral that if we want to please Almighty God, we must love our fellowmen. Almighty God loved those people who love human beings hence it is said that the service of mankind is service to God.
